AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - 205 Posts (Graduate, Diploma, ITI)

Are You Eligible?

AAI (Airports Authority of India) is hiring 205 apprentices for its Northern Region office. This is apprenticeship training for 12 months, not a permanent job. After training ends, AAI does not promise to give you a job. But the training and stipend (monthly money) are real.

You can apply if you are between 18 and 26 years old on 16 September 2026. Your qualification must match the post type you want. Read below to check if you fit.

What Posts Are Available?

AAI has 205 apprentice posts in three types:

• Graduate Apprentices: 80 posts
• Diploma Apprentices: 65 posts
• ITI Trade Apprentices: 60 posts

The posts are spread across different fields like Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, and more. Each field has different numbers of seats.

Who Can Apply?

For Graduate Apprentices (80 posts)

You need a bachelor's degree (4-year graduation) in:

• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics
• Computer Science / IT
• Aeronautical / Aerospace / Aircraft Maintenance
• Architecture
• Mechanical / Automobile
• BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)

For Diploma Apprentices (65 posts)

You need a diploma (2-3 year course after 10th or 12th) in:

• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics
• Computer Science
• Aeronautical / Aerospace
• Architecture
• Mechanical / Automobile

For ITI Trade Apprentices (60 posts)

You need to have completed an ITI trade course in:

• COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) - 50 posts
• Computer Hardware & Networking - 10 posts

Age and Other Rules

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 26 years (as on 16 September 2026)
• You must be from one of 12 North Indian states or Union Territories. Check the official notification for the exact list.
• Application fee: Zero. It is free.

Important Dates

Monthly Stipend (Money You Get)

Graduate apprentices get ₹15,000 per month during the 12-month training. Check the official notification for stipend amounts for diploma and ITI apprentices.

How to Apply Online

You must use one of two government portals to apply:

• For Graduate & Diploma posts: www.nats.education.gov.in (NATS portal)
• For ITI Trade posts: www.apprenticeshipindia.org (NAPS portal)

Register yourself on the correct portal first. This is required before you can apply.

Step 2: Fill Your Application

• Log in after registration
• Fill all details correctly - name, date of birth, qualification, and address
• Select the post type and field you want
• Upload documents (degree/diploma/ITI certificate, ID proof, address proof)

Step 3: Submit and Save

• Check all details before submitting
• Click Submit
• Save your application number and receipt
• No offline forms are accepted. Online only.

Selection Process
