Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is hiring ITI Trade Apprentices for their Andaman & Nicobar Islands unit. The application window is open from 2 September 2026 to 21 September 2026. If you have passed 10th and an ITI course, you can apply.

What Jobs Are Available?

CSL has 9 apprentice positions open in different trades. Here's the breakdown:

The apprenticeship will be at CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU) in Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have passed 10th standard
• You must have completed ITI with a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in one of the notified trades

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old as on 21 September 2026.

Domicile Requirement

You must be an Indian citizen and domiciled in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This means you should have lived there for the required period as per government rules.

Application Fee

There is no application fee. You can apply for free.

Monthly Stipend and Training Duration

If selected, you will receive ₹11,000 per month as a stipend during your training. The apprenticeship period is 1 year, as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

How Will Selection Happen?

The selection process has three stages:

• Stage 1: Shortlisting based on your marks in the qualification exam
• Stage 2: Certificate verification - CSL will check your documents
• Stage 3: Final selection based on merit, reservation rules, and medical fitness
