The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has opened a big recruitment drive for Gramin Banks across India. They are hiring 13,706 people for different positions. This is the 15th time IBPS is doing this recruitment for Regional Rural Banks (RRB). If you want to work in a bank, this is a good chance.

Who Can Apply?

You need to have a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university in India. Different posts have different age limits. Check your age as on 01 September 2026.

Age Limits by Post

• Office Assistant: 18 to 28 years old
• Officer Scale-I: 18 to 30 years old
• Officer Scale-II: 21 to 32 years old
• Senior Manager (Officer Scale-III): 21 to 40 years old

Age relaxation is given to SC, ST, OBC, and other categories. Read the official notification for exact relaxation rules.

Education Required

Most posts need a Bachelor's degree in any stream. Some special posts have different needs:

• IT Officer: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, or IT with at least 50% marks and 1 year work experience
• Chartered Accountant Officer: Must be a qualified CA from ICAI with 1 year experience
• Law Officer: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) with 50% marks and 2 years as a lawyer
• Agriculture Officer: Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Science, or Veterinary Science with 2 years experience
• Finance Officer: CA or MBA in Finance with 1 year experience

How Much Do You Need to Pay?

You have to pay an application fee when you apply online. The fee is different based on your category:

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 850
• SC / ST / PH (Person with Disability): Rs. 175

Payment is done online only. You cannot pay by cash or cheque.
