Friction is f = μN where μ depends on surface nature and N is normal force. Static friction can be equal to or less than maximum static friction.
Range R = u²sin(2θ)/g = (40)²sin(90°)/10 = 1600/10 = 160 m
Centripetal acceleration ac = v²/r = (20)²/50 = 400/50 = 8 m/s²
Centripetal acceleration always points toward center of circle (radially inward), perpendicular to velocity
Newton's first law: uniform velocity means acceleration = 0, hence net force = 0
From F = ma, m = F/a = 10/2 = 5 kg
Using s = ut + ½at², a = (0-20)/4 = -5 m/s². s = 20(4) + ½(-5)(16) = 80 - 40 = 40 m
F = ma, so a = F/m. If F is same and m_A:m_B = 1:2, then a_A:a_B = 2:1
Momentum = mass × velocity. Unit = kg × m/s = kg·m/s. Note: N·s is equivalent but not the fundamental unit.
Using v² = u² - 2gh, at max height v = 0. So 0 = 400 - 2(10)h, h = 20 m
