Numbers 1, 8, and 0 are symmetrical horizontally. They appear the same in mirror image. Other digits change their appearance.
The digit '8' is symmetrical both horizontally and vertically. Therefore, '88' appears the same in mirror image.
Mirror image doesn't change the actual dimensions of a figure, only reverses its orientation horizontally. The size remains 4cm × 6cm.
Mirror reflection is a horizontal flip (left-right reversal), while water reflection is a vertical flip (top-bottom reversal). This is the fundamental difference.
The digit '3' when horizontally mirrored appears as 'Ɛ' (reversed 3). This is the standard mirror transformation for this numeral.
Water image flips the figure vertically. Upper portion becomes lower, so upper-left becomes lower-left.
Water image creates a vertical flip (top-bottom reversal). If the vertex is at top in original, it will be at bottom in water image.
Vertical mirror reflection reverses the sequence: 2024 becomes 4202.
Water image involves vertical flipping. P flipped vertically becomes its mirror equivalent.
In vertical mirror reflection, digits are reversed from right to left: 2847 becomes 7482.
